Susan M Atengo Wegoye is the Commission Secretary/Director Legal Affairs at the Uganda Communications Commission. She is an Advocate of the Courts of Judicature of Uganda with over 15 years’ legal experience.
Wegoye holds an LLM in Intellectual Property and Technology, Bachelors of Laws Degree (Makerere University, Kampala), a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (Law Development Centre) and a Diploma in Legislative Drafting (International Law Institute).
Wegoye has extensive corporate experience derived in civil aviation, broadcasting and telecommunications sub sectors. She has been instrumental in legislative and international lobby efforts.
In a nutshell, Wegoye is a well-grounded lawyer with strengths in policy development, corporate governance, commercial transactions, legal and regulatory compliance.
