Eng. Alfred Bogere has over fifteen (16) years’ experience in communication operations, regulations, and policy, gained from previous roles working with a telecommunications operator and a regulatory authority.
Eng. Bogere holds a Bachelor of Science degree (honours) in Telecommunications and Electronics Engineering from the University of Pinar Del Rio, Republic of Cuba, a Master of Science degree in Data Communications and Software Engineering from Makerere University, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Kisubi, and a First Class Diploma in Law from the Law Development Centre (LDC), Kampala, Uganda.
He previously worked at Uganda Telecommunications Limited as a Radio Network Planning Engineer and at the Uganda Communications Commission as Manager, Radio Spectrum Planning and Authorisation; Head, Radio Spectrum Management; and Head, Communications and Infrastructure Services.
