Eng. Paul Odoi is a professional engineer with over 16 years’ experience in the ICT sector. In his long years of service, he has accumulated experience and skills in ICT Policy Development and Implementation; ICT Strategy Formulation; Project Planning and Management; Corporate Governance; and design of optical fibre networks, among others.
Eng. Odoi is a member of the Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers (UIPE) and a registered professional engineer. He possesses a Diploma in Spectrum Management from the United States Telecommunications Training Institute, a post graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management from the Uganda Management Institute (UMI), and a Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering from Makerere University. He also possesses various equipment certifications from Huawei University, China.
Eng. Odoi served as Board Member of Uganda Posts Ltd from 2010 to 2018 and has represented the Government of Uganda on various technical committees in Uganda and abroad. He is currently involved in the development and implementation of National Standards, Policies and Strategies in ICT.
