She has broad knowledge and expertise in Communications Regulation accumulated over 19 years in the areas of Quality of Service, Spectrum Management, Research and Development, and Innovation Promotion.
A registered engineer with the Engineers Registration Board, Christine holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Makerere University, a Master of Science in Communications Systems and Signal Processing from the University of Bristol, UK, and an Executive MBA from Saunders College of Business, Rochester Institute of Technology, New York, USA.
Prior to this appointment, Eng. Mugimba held various leadership positions at the Commission, including Head, Spectrum Management; Head, Engineering and Postal Services; and Head, Strategy and Research.
