Ms Pamela Angwech is a development and gender specialist, human rights practitioner and organisational development expert with 17years of development work in Northern Uganda responding to the long term effects of conflict in the region.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Gender and Development from Makerere University.
Currently Ms Pamela Angwech is the Executive Director of the largest grassroots women organisation in northern Uganda called Gulu Women's Economic Development and Globalisation (GWED-G)
Ms. Angwech has been leading partnerships with foundations of EU, UN agencies, Development partners, International donors, Government Sectors and gender equality funders. Drawing from all her experience working in the UN, Gender and Civil Society Organisations, Ms Pamela Angwech is a champion for human and women's rights. She is a change agent and promoter of social justice.
Ms Pamela has been awarded as the best African Women in Business and Governance by CEO Global in 2016. Pamela is a member of Uganda Consumers Protection Association, Member of Uganda Women's Entrepreneurs, Associations –UWEAL, as well as Uganda Women's Network(UWONET).
