The Computer Emergency Response Team was established in June 2013 in partnership with the International Telecommunications Union (ITU). The Communications sector CERT serves the Communications sector in Uganda which includes licensed Telecommunications service providers, Internet Service Providers, and consumers of their services.
The CERT has partnerships with a number of local, regional and International bodies and is a member of the global Forum for Incidence Response Teams - FIRST. More information can be found here (CERT).
